The University of Tennessee Police Department is located at 1101 Cumberland Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37996.  All training will take place in the Community Room of this facility.  All internet search engines should take you directly to the training facility, which is located on the bottom level of a multilevel garage at the corner of Cumberland Avenue and 11th Street.  Contact Lt. Parking Directions:
From Cumberland Ave, turn north onto 11th street.  Take the 1st left into our garage.  It will be labeled level 2 but it is the very first level of parking.  Park on this level only.  Access into our facility is controlled.  On the first morning of training, all participants will need to enter the facility through the lobby on Cumberland Ave.  Anyone parking in our garage must walk back onto the sidewalk on 11th street after parking, walk down the hill and enter the lobby of UTPD on the Cumberland Ave side of the garage.  On the morning of the first day of training, participants will be given elevator and front door access codes that will allow them to utilize controlled building access areas.
