National Center for State Courts

The National Center for State Courts, located in Williamsburg, VA, provides a variety of services, solutions and expertise for judges, court administrators and other members of the judiciary, including research, information services, education, and consulting.


National Crime Prevention Council

The National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) works to help people keep themselves, their families, and their communities safe from crime. The NCPC produces tools that communities can use to learn crime prevention strategies, engage community members, and coordinate with local police agencies.


The National Judicial College

The National Judicial College serves the nation’s judicial community by offering educational opportunities, customized programs and technical assistance to encourage innovation and advance justice in the United States.


United States Marshals Service

The Judicial Security Division (JSD) of the United States Marshals Service is committed to the protection of the judicial process – by ensuring the safe and secure conduct of judicial proceedings and protecting federal judges, jurors and other members of the federal judiciary. This mission is accomplished by effectively employing preventative measures, and continuous developing and implementing innovative protective techniques. The USMS establishes many of the judicial security best practices employed at the state and local levels throughout the United States.
